 I've been yearning to make a blue velvet skirt for quite some time and I am pleased with the way it turned out. I also made the bow tie. Everything else was thrifted. Yayyy for cheapness.

Hello there followers! I apologize for the ten days that have passed since you've last heard from me. It's winter here, which usually puts me in an unproductive funk. Luckily, the frigid weather is an excuse to wear big sweaters and cozy socks and mittens. However, I dislike wearing pants, especially jeans...I'm not really sure why. Anyways...here's an example of an outfit I wore this week:

 This weekend I spent a day volunteering at a local thrift store, so of course, I brought home like 48589878492 closets worth of old clothing..

Hey there!

So I've been wanting red velvet leggings for a while now and when I saw that my mom was going to donate a pair of XL sweatpants of said material I decided to pay my old pal Sewing Machine a visit. It was actually very simple to reconstruct them. I just turned them inside out, put them on my legs, pinned them around the perimeter of my legs, then sewed, then cut...Tada.

Pardon the naked feet...but I didn't have any black Doc Martens to polish this outfit off...
